April 6, 2026 marks the centennial of NEA Jazz Master Dr. Randy Weston, and this night invites you into the powerful world he created. Weston’s music connects jazz to African rhythm, history, and spirit, blending elegance, groove, and deep cultural pride into a sound that feels both intimate and expansive. From meditative melodies to driving, trance-like rhythms, his work was meant to be felt as much as heard. This centennial celebration honors a cultural warrior whose music continues to bring people together through joy, memory, and movement. PERFORMANCE LINEUP T.K.
