About Grammy award winning pianist Bill Charlap has performed with many of the leading artists of our time including Phil Woods, Tony Bennett, Gerry Mulligan, Wynton Marsalis, Freddy Cole and Houston Person. Born in New York City, Charlap began playing the piano at age three. His father was Broadway composer Moose Charlap, whose credits include Peter Pan, and his mother is singer Sandy Stewart, who toured with Benny Goodman, and was a regular on the Perry Como show. She earned a 1963 Grammy nomination for her recording of My Coloring Book. Frank Vignolas virtuosity has made him the guitarist of choice for many of the worlds top musicians, including Ringo Starr, Madonna, Donald Fagen, Tommy Emmanuel, the Boston and New York Pops, and more. Every Wednesday at The Birdland Theater, Frank leads Frank Vignolas Guitar Night. Inspired by journeyman jazz guitarist John Pisanos now famous Los Angeles Guitar Night, Frank Vignola and friends will perform tunes from the standard repertoire and welcome weekly guest artists. About Blake Morgan returns to the stage—relaunching his record-breaking NYC residency and bringing it to The Bitter End for five unique performances running from September 2025 to May 2026. Morgan’s unique combination of musicianship, storytelling, and songwriting has led to 31 consecutive sold-out performances in New York City, and fueled more than 200 performances and sold-out concerts across 225,000 miles of touring on both sides of the Atlantic. Called “Disarmingly unselfconscious” by The New York Times, an artist with “Killer Pop-Rock instincts,” by The Washington Post and, and “A revered New York indie-music figure,” by Beyond the Stage Magazine, Morgan will perform with his full band as well as solo, while being joined onstage by special guests throughout this 2025-2026 concert series.
