Recorded in Prague with five Czech musicians, the first volume captures spring's emotions through carefully curated works by Ellington, Strayhorn, Dameron, Brubeck, and more. Born in England and raised in Australia, Hetty honed her craft in Melbourne's vibrant jazz scene before joining acclaimed Australian multi-instrumentalist James Morrison's touring bands, including being the featured vocalist for his award-winning symphonic concert 'The A to Z of Jazz' which was performed with eight symphonies worldwide. She has released eleven albums, featured at premier festivals across Europe, Asia, and Australasia, and continues to tour extensively. Now based in Paris, Hetty brings a clarion tone, impeccable timing, and a razor-sharp wit to everything she performs. For Hetty's debut performance at Jazz at Lincoln Center, enjoy a selection from her newest release alongside treasures from the American Songbook and beyond!
