Paul Connors Organ Trio hosts Thursday Organ Groove - a bi-weekly residency with a featured artist. 2 sets Thursday nights from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Jazz at The Lodge in Ossining, NY. $10 per person for admission to both sets. The Elks Lodge is located at 118 Croton Ave. Ossining, NY 10562 Thursdays, The Elks Lodge transforms into an old school organ parlor with a house Hammond B3 organ, Leslie speaker, and an intimate vibe for you to sit back groove to the music. Drinks and bar eats are great and inexpensive. During the warm months, the music goes from the front room out into the parking lot. The backlit stone walls make for a gorgeous backdrop under the stars. The early timing of 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm allows you to start the weekend off right on Thursday night and yet still have plenty of gas left for the rest of the weekend. Thursday May 28th features guitarist Jesse Lewis. The music is a mix of original compositions, as well as jazz, soul and funk.

Liftoff Brass is a funky horn-based band performing everything from New Orleans style brass band music to funk, soul and beyond. LIFTOFF BRASS BAND incorporates New York’s current generation of musicians who are revitalizing the funk band sound in New York, including Jayd on vocals, Martin vocals/sax, Wayne on trumpet, Matt on trombone, Paul on keys/organ, Alix on Tuba, Vin on drums, and a host of guests. From a power funky-brass quartet to a three-horn frontline, and with a host of original arrangements reflecting a large vision, Liftoff Brass band ranges freely across the New Orleans landscape without losing grip of the New York groove. Influences from Louis Armstrong to Aretha to Bruno Mars to Stevie Wonder to Whitney Houston to Prince to James Brown to Rebirth Brass, the music of Liftoff Brass inspired by the greats hailing from Nola washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life." The members of Liftoff have performed at Lincoln Center Out of Doors, Radegast Hall, Single Cut, Le Poisson Rouge, Symphony Space, Blue Note, Employees Only, and international music festivals.

Saturday May 30th, 2026. 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM Jazz at The Lodge - 118 Croton Ave, Ossining, NY 10562 Pat Metheny's "Bright Size Life" was Pat's first album as a leader featuring Jaco Pastorius and Bob Moses. It was unique and a first of it's kind in many ways. Guitarists and bassists in particular, consider this album to be a watershed moment in jazz guitar trio - offering a door for future musicians to walk through in pursuit of originality of voice and sound. Jazz at The Lodge presents the Bright Size Life Project on Saturday January 21st starting at 7:30 pm. This project is a reimagining of this iconic album through the scope of the Hammond B3 organ, electric bass, and drums. Paul Connors - Hammond B3 organ, Marshall Toppo - fretless bass, Jon Doty - drums. The program will be a performance of the entire album in its original song order for the first set. The second set will have additional Metheny and Pastorius compositions with additional musicians.

About Pangea Jazz Night Series curated by Val Hawk. Louise Alexandra returns stateside for her New York City debut. The Dutch-American jazz vocalist, fresh off the release of her third album Crazy World of Love, brings her signature blend of originals, reimagined standards, and vocalese to one of New York's most intimate stages. Joining her are special guests Alexis Cole and Amy London, alongside a stellar trio led by Cameron Brown.
